RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's air defence forces "intercepted a missile in the skies over Riyadh" Wednesday, Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya television reported, after blasts were heard in the city.
An AFP journalist in Riyadh earlier heard three explosions over the Saudi capital, which has been previously targeted by Huthi rebels in Yemen.
