IHC reserves judgment in Khawaja Asif eligibility case

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday reserved its judgment in a case challenging the eligibility of Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif as member of the parliament.
A three-member larger bench comprising Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani resumed hearing of the petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s leader Usman Dar.
During the course of proceedings, the counsel for Khawaja Asif informed the court that his client had worked as part time adviser to a bank. However, the petitioner's counsel Sikandar Bashir said the minister had worked as full time with IMECL Company.
After hearing the arguments from both sides, the court reserved its judgment.
