Departmental store gutted in Multan

MULTAN: Massive fire erupted in a departmental store here early morning on Friday.

The Rescue 1122 spokesperson Abdul Jabbar told APP that the fire broke out in a departmental store situated in cantt due to short circuit which engulfed the whole building.

As a result, grocery, clothes and other valuables worth millions of of rupee were reduced to ash.

However, no human loss was reported in the incident, he added. He said that rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation.
