Rangers arrest wanted criminals from Malir, Shah Latif areas

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers - Sindh in its ongoing operation against terrorists and criminals here Sunday arrested two criminals for their alleged involvement in series of crimes from Model Colony (Malir) and Shah Latif town areas.
According to Rangers sources the arrest of the culprits identified as Muhammad Ayaz Khan alias KK and Muhammad Feroz was possible through a CCTV footage establishing their involvement in a robbery committed by them at Hakimi Communications, Model Colony.
Earlier, the Rangers taking immediate notice of the sim activation of a robbed cell phone, from the site of crime, initiated technical monitoring as well as ground surveillance, finally tracing the culprits. The two apprehended were said to be actively involved in crimes committed in Gulistan e Jauhar, particularly around Rabia City besides at Race Course, Saudabad (Model Colony Gate, Gulshan e Iqbal 13D etc.
Their nature of crimes were cited to include robbery, snatching of valuables from citizens, forced occupation of flats, drug peddling and so-forth.
Nine cell phones along with a lap-top and a motor cycle besides two cameras were seized from their possession at the time of their arrest. They have been handed to police for further legal action.
Pakistan Rangers officials have appealed to the citizens to cooperate with them and immediately report any crime committed in their vicinity to the nearest check-post.
