AJK Govt approves fixation of Rs15000 monthly wages for unskilled labor

MUZAFFARABAD: The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir approved fixation of Rs 15000 monthly wages minimum for unskilled labor class workers and issued formally a notification in this regard here on Tuesday.

According to the notification No-CST/345/245-2017, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir while using the powers under the constitution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minimum wages for unskilled workers (Amendment) Act, 2014 and under sub section-3 formally has given the approval of Rs.15000 per month salary for unskilled workers from the month of July 1, 2017 against 26 working days in all industrial and trading institutions and other private companies notification added.
