LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif while addressing the function of the reconstruction of Bab-e-Pakistan on Sunday said that "NAB enquires about the construction of Raiwind road for which I ask that isn't there any road where chairman NAB resides".
He asked there are dozens of hospitals, schools and towns adjacent to the road, so what sin has been committed from this construction?
He said that NAB has not taken a while to enter the review petition of Hudaibyia Case.
The CM sarcastically quoted Punjabi saying that Ranjha was not agree, so NAB sent another notice to make him happy.
Addressing the Lahorites in a fervent manner, the Chief Minister said that they have won him by rejecting the show of Mall Road with their non-presence.
He said that he would always remember this kind of grace and would work hard for them by day and night. He vowed that they would confront the PTI leaders in general elections who have delayed the construction of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train.
Thousands of people pledged to take revenge in election on the announcement of Chief Minister, upon which he said that he also promises to build Walton Road in LOS Road style.
Adding on, the CM said that nobody has stood with me for the position of prime minister like you all have done on the words of Khawaja Saad Rafique.
On a lighter tone, the CM said to Saad Rafique that you have displayed enmity in the form of friendship. Khawaja Saad Rafique while commenting on the love and hard work of Shehbaz Sharif said that we have learned a lot from him as he have never said NO for Public service projects.
The patience and considerate of Shehbaz Sharif is matchless and he does the work of 1 year in one month, he said.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq enquired the gathering if they accept Shehbaz Sharif as their prime minister upon which thousands of people together yelled 'Accepted, Accepted'.
