Pakistan to face South Africa at U-19 World Cup eliminator

Pakistan would face off South Africa in the Under 19 World Cup Super League quarter final on January 24 at Christ Church, after the Proteas lost to New Zealand by 71 runs on Saturday.
The South African finished second at their Group A, with the Kiwis topping the group. Meanwhile, Pakistan topped the group with four points, winning two of their matches in the Group D, after Ireland beat Afghanistan.
Earlier, Pakistan qualified for the quarter-final of the U-19 World Cup after defeating Sri Lanka in a thrilling contest by three wickets on Friday at Whangarei. After winning the toss, Pakistan asked Sri Lanka to bat first.
Meanwhile, England will take on Australia, India will face Bangladesh and New Zealand would clash with Afghanistan in their respective quarter finals.
