A simple but impressive passing out parade of recruits of Ordnance Corps was held at Ordnance Corps Centre, Malir Cantonment, on Friday. Major General Aftab Ahmed, who is also the Colonel Commandant of Ordnance Corps, was the chief guest on the occasion, says an ISPR press release issued here.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General Aftab Ahmed dilated upon the need of continuous quest of seeking latest technology and mastery over standing operating procedures which has proved to be a cutting edge in modern day welfare.
He also congratulated the passing out recruits on the successful completion of their training and also lauded the hard work put in by faculty staff, which was reflected in the high standards of drill.
Major General Aftab Ahmed also gave away prizes to the outstanding recruits. Recruit SMT Tanveer Ahmed was awarded Chief of Logistics Staff Cane on outstanding performance during the training. Centre Commandant Brigadier Faiz Muhammad and a large number of senior army officers, junior commissioned officers and families of passing out recruits attended the ceremony.
