Final touches are being given to the establishment of a cadet college in Pasrur. The Federal government had set aside more than Rs 220 million for completion of the first phase of the proposed cadet college. The initial development work on the college would start in near future.
Official told Business Recorder here on Friday that the proposed cadet college would be developed over 150 acres of land and it would the second cadet college after Hassan Abdal Cadet College.
A large number students from Sialkot district, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Narowal, Wazirabad, Hafizabad and Jehlum and other adjoining districts would be able to obtain quality education in the proposed college. Apart from this, the regular functioning of the college would be helpful in banishing the backwardness and opening new vistas of development and prosperity in tehsil Pasrur and its adjoining areas, sources added.
