imagePESHAWAR: The Metrological Department on Thursday predicted dry and hot weather in Khyber Pakthunkhwa during next 24 hours.

According to Met office's Spokesman here, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and seasonal low lies over west Balochistan and adjoining areas.

In next 24 hours, he said mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, adding day temperatures would rise in most parts of the country during next few days.

Hot and dry weather is expected in Peshawar, DI Khan, Bannu and Mardan during the said period. Likewise, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 48 hours.

Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country in last 24 hours as no reports of rain was received from any part of the country.

D. G. Khan, R. Y. Khan, Sibbi, Sukkur and Jacobabad with 43 degree centigrade remained the hottest places of the country followed by Rohri, Larkana, Dadu, Dalbandin, Bahawalpur, Noorpur Thal, Moenjodaro, Khanpur and Shaheed Benazirabad 42 degree centigrade respectively while pollen count today remained 53/m3.
