ISLAMABAD: Former ambassador Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said that timing of Chinese Prime Minister's visit to Pakistan is significant to show that China has support with the upcoming government.
Talking to a private news channel, she said that number of agreements including Maritime Cooperation will be signed between the two countries.
She said that more than one hundred and twenty Chinese companies are working in Pakistan while fourteen thousand Chinese workers and engineers are working in different projects.
She said that people of private sector of China will also visit Pakistan and they will hold meetings and talks with Pakistani officials and private sectors' people to further strengthen economic cooperation.
Dr Maleeha said that issues related to security situation of the region after withdrawal of international forces from Afghanistan and economic cooperation between the two countries will be discussed in the meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Chinese Premier.
