President expresses shock on loss of lives in fire incident in Lahore

imageKARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep shock and profound grief over the loss of precious lives as a result of fire in 13-storey LDA plaza situated on Lahore's Egerton Road.

The President has called for inquiry into this unfortunate incident and also asked the provincial government to ensure that the victim families are adequately compensated.

He directed the concerned to ensure that the injured are provided best medical assistance.
