MULTAN: Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ahmed Ali Aulakh has said the Punjab government provided subsidy of Rs27 billion on agriculture sector during its five years tenure.
Addressing a delegation of farmers' representatives, he said that subsidy worth Rs15 billion was offered in South Punjab. He said that billions of rupees were also being spent on improving irrigation system in the province.
He informed that special focus was paid on the promotion of Pakistani mango and improving supply chain in Eurpeon markets. He claimed that PML-N would introduce more agri-cultural policies after wining upcoming elections.
