ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday offered Fateha for its deceased members and the citizens those had lost their lives in terror incidents took place across the country.
Syed Asif Husnain of Muttahida Qaumi Movement drew House's attention to the bomb blast took place in Karachi on Monday claiming lives of innocent people and requested the House to offer Fateha.
In response, Speaker NA Dr Fehmida Mirza said the House should also offer Fateha for the deceased members of the National Assembly as well.
Maulana Ataur Rehman led Fateha prayer for the forgiveness of those who had died and courage for the bereaved families to bear the loss with equanimity.
Later, Speaker NA also prayed for the protection of all the people of Pakistan whatsoever the religion they were associated with.
