KARACHI: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will reportedly meet Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg at a private party in Mumbai tonight.
Director Spielberg who is phenomenally popular for his films “Saving Private Ryan”, “Jaws” and "Jurassic Park” will stay in Mumbai for four days on his first trip to India. He is allegedly coming to celebrate the success of his Oscar-winning film “Lincoln”, co-produced by Anil Ambani's Reliance Entertainment and DreamWorks. The movie is a narrative of US President Abraham Lincoln's efforts during the Civil War.
Scrupulously planning his visit for three months, Tina and Anil Ambani have invited Spielberg to their celebrity bash, where Speilberg will meet the Who’s Who of Bollywood. Not wanting to miss out, Big B postponed the shooting of Prakash Jha's “Satyagraha”, and flew to Mumbai, where he and his wife Jaya Bachchan are now scheduled to have a tête-à-tête with Spielberg. It is rumored that Spielberg’s wife will accompany him as well.
Bachchan tweeted: "And tomorrow meeting up with THE Steven Spielberg, and moderating a conversation with him, at an event for select fraternity," The aforementioned “select fraternity” includes other big names of the Indian industry including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, Ram Gopal Varma and Sanjay Leela Bhansali among others.
