south-africa-stockJOHANNESBURG: South Africa's All-share index hit a fresh record high on Thursday after solid manufacturing data from the United States and China sparked optimism about that global growth may be recovering.

 

The index touched an all-time high of 37,811.23 from a previous record of 37,749.90.
