European stocks stable at open; London FTSE slips 0.03pc

LONDON: European stock markets steadied in opening deals on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 index of top companies down 0.03 percent at 6,088.27 points.

Elsewhere, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index dropped 0.21 percent to 7,760.01 points and in Paris the CAC 40 added 0.04 percent to 3,731.67.
