european stocks 400LONDON: Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies losing just 0.10 percent to 5,864.32 points.

 

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index shed a marginal 0.002 percent to 7,399.09 points and in Paris the CAC 40 was flat at 3,567.59 points.
