coffee2LONDON: World coffee exports rose to 8.88 million 60-kg bags in October, up 17.3 percent from 7.57 million in the same month last year, the International Coffee Organization said on Friday.

 

Robusta exports showed the steepest advance, climbing 52.7 percent to 3.54 million bags, while arabica exports rose just 1.6 percent to 5.33 million bags.

 

October is the first month of the coffee year.
