PML-N, PPP negotiations on 25 NA seat adjustment enter in final stage

Negotiations between PML-N and PPP on twenty five National Assembly seats adjustment in NWFP and Punjab have entered in final stage.
The leadership of both the parties has decided to evolve a consensus strategy against PML-Q and its allies.
PPP leader Senator Babar Awan hinted that PPP candidate will not contest election against PML-N Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra.
On the other hand, PML-N Secretary Information Ahsan Iqbal said that progress in talks can not be made until PPP agrees to the restoration of deposed judges.
Reports say that talks are in progress on twenty-five National Assembly seats between PML-N and PPP on which he important leaders of PML-Q are contesting the elections. Both the parties have decided to field joint candidates against the PML-Q stalwarts.
Senator Babar Awan said that seat adjustment will be made in NA-3 Peshawar and PML-N Candidate Iqbal Zafar Jhagra will be the consensus candidate. He said decision in this regard is at final stage.
PML Secretary General Iqbal Zafar Jhagra while welcoming the gesture of Senator Babar Awan said that talks are in progress on 25 National Assembly seats with PPP. He said both the parties want to stop PML-Q not to become in power again; therefore the democratic forces are joining hands.
Secretary Information Ahsan Iqbal said PML-N participating in the election to black PML-Q so that it could not get the 2/3rd majority in the elections. He said companions of Pervez Musharraf are trying to manipulate the elections.
