MDA approves Rs 12,296.41 million budgetKARACHI (July 14, 2010): The governing body of Malir Development Authority gave approval of MDA annual budget of Rs 12,296.418 million for fiscal year 2010-11 during a meeting chaired by Administrator Karachi Fazlur Rehman in DCO Camp Office on Tuesday. In the MDA budget Rs 11,662.20 million have been allocated for development expenditures, while the non-development expenditures have been estimated as Rs 462.640 million showing a surplus of Rs 171.576 million.

DCO approves Rs 6,091.41 million budget for 2010-11HYDERABAD (July 02, 2010): The District Co-ordination Officer, District Government, Hyderabad approved Rs 6,091.41 million budget for the financial year 2010-11 of district Hyderabad. The DCO announced that no new tax has been imposed in the budget and a huge amount was also allocated for development projects.

CDA announces a surplus budget of Rs 22.7 billion for fiscal year 2010-11ISLAMABAD (June 30, 2010): Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday announced a surplus budget of Rs 22.7 billion for next fiscal year (2010-11), ie 14 per cent less than Rs 26.5 billion earmarked for the out-going fiscal year. Next year's budget has shown Rs 2.7 million surplus with Rs 22.712 billion receipts and Rs 22.710 billion expenditure.

Rs 142,218 surplus budget 2010-11 of TM Khan approvedHYDERABAD (June 29, 2010): Administrator District Government T.M Khan, Ali Ahmed Lund approved annual budget 2010-11 with surplus amount of Rs 142,218 at a ceremony held at District Council Hall T.M Khan on Monday. The annual budget for new financial year reveals its income Rs 1,937,159996 and estimated expenditure of Rs 1,937,017,778. Lund said that Rs 50 million would be spent for the implementation of District beautification plan while Rs 40.900 million has been earmarked for the social education reform programme.

CDA likely to announce Rs 18 billion budget on June 29ISLAMABAD (June 12, 2010): Capital Development Authority (CDA) is likely to announce Rs 18 billion budget for next fiscal year on June 29, which will be about ten billion less than the current year budget of Rs 28 billion. In spite of Rs 10 billion cut in CDA budget, the federal government has increased its share by allocating Rs 4 billion in the next year federal budget in place of Rs 3.6 billion for current year, well informed sources in CDA told Business Recorder.
