Match-fixing claims are not true: Alam
NEW DELHI ( October 07, 2009, 12:58 ) :A day after Pakistan cricket team was accused of fixing the champions trophy matches, Pak captain Younis Khan and coach Intikhab Alam denied any wrong doing.

"These are baseless allegations and are hurting the team", Alam said.

"We are not scared and are ready to answer any question", he added.

Earlier on Tuesday, a parliamentarian raised the issue of match-fixing by the country's cricketers, alleging that the Pakistan team deliberately lost matches in the just-concluded Champions Trophy.
