Taliban mediators to convince TTP Shura to extend ceasefire: Maulana Yusaf Shah PESHAWAR: Coordinator of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) negotiation committee, Maulana Yousuf Shah said here Thursday that the peace talks cannot succeed without a permanent ceasefire, and the committee would continue its efforts to restore peace in the country.Talking to media, he said that the TTP nominated committee would contact the Taliban leadership and would try to convince them to extend ceasefire.Member Taliban Negotiating team Professor Ibrahim said that the reservations of Taliban are needed to be addressed.He said that meeting with Taliban leadership would be held very soon and they would be requested to extend ceasefire.Ibrahim said that the government would be informed about the Taliban reservations. However, he said that so far they had not contacted the Taliban.
