KARACHI: This December, when the chill is beginning to swell, the hottest trend of marketing was coming under debate at DIG IT 2012.
Organised by Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS), the first-of-its-kind, the Digital Marketing and Advertising Conference – DIG IT 2012 was held at the Sheraton Hotel on December 18, 2012. The conference highlighted the significance of the digital media and the impact it is creating in the marketing world locally.
This high-profile conference brought together some of the best minds in the industry to comment and define, to probe and debate and above all to address issues affecting the digital industry in Pakistan and how the term “digital” is perceived locally.
With an audience of 250 plus, the conference was attended by CEOs, VPs, directors, senior managers and professionals from marketing, advertising, communications, PR, Digital planning, media, research and Web strategy entities.
The format of DIG IT 2012 revolved around four key areas including Presentations, Panel discussions, Syndicate sessions and Hot-seat debate where some of the industry’s most respected names threw light on social media, mobile and apps monetization, online media measurement, economy of Digital Marketing and conventional marketing as opposed to digital marketing.
