KARACHI: One of Pakistan’s premier food based companies, National Foods Limited proudly launched their first Cook Book at the iconic and historic Mohatta Palace in Karachi with a night dedicated to the appreciation of flavours and culture, endeavouring to highlight and revive the celebration of the Pakistani culinary tradition within our community. Indeed the National Food Cook Book recipes celebrate and cater to seven distinct traditions and occasions: Basant/Spring, Mayun/Bride-Seclusion, Anniversaries, Aqiqa/Child-Welcoming, Bismillah, Birthdays and lastly, Eid.
Hosted by Television personalities Sajid Hasan and Savera Nadeem, the National Foods culinary journey included a unique fusion of culture and food with an interpretive dance performance by the group Body Beats, showcasing a dance routine as an interpretive expression of these very seven distinct traditions and occasions while a custom eight-course meal, made with National Foods Masala with their own recipes served at a sit down affair.
