ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Syed Naveed Qamar Thursday said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had a vision for the democracy and the people of Pakistan and the party continued to seek guidance from her vision and principles for a better tomorrow.
Naveed Qamar, who is attending the anniversary of BB Shaheed with a heavy heart said that the loss of BB is immense but what is satisfactory is that the vision Mohtarma had for democracy and the people of Pakistan, continues.
For the first time in Pakistan's history, an elected political government is completing its tenure of five years," he added in a statement issued here.
He said the voice of people cannot be suppressed and therefore Bhutto's and their legacy will live on. We owe this democratic age to the blood of Bhuttos, he noted.
The party continues to seek guidance from her vision and principles for a better tomorrow, a better Pakistan, he concluded.
