Targeted killings in Karachi: Commission presents report to Sindh chief minister

Former Justice Zahid Qurban Alvi, Chairman of Commission regarding targeted killings & terrorists activities in Karachi, on Wednesday presented a commission's preliminary report for the year 2011, to the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here at Chief Minister's House.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah constituted said Commission a few months back with mandate to make a comprehensive report on the subject of targeted killings & terrorists activities in Karachi. Sources inside the Chief Minister House told newsmen that former justice Zahid Qurban Alvi would submit a comprehensive report in this regard to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah very soon. Later, the Chief Minister would call a meeting of major political parties and would give copies of said report to the representatives of political parties, sources said.
