FIA's Special Cell to entertain overseas Pakistanis' complaints

Federal Investigating Agency (FIA) has set up Special Cell for entertaining complaints of Overseas Pakistanis and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF). The Special Cell was constituted in compliance to the directions of the Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for entertaining complaints of Overseas Pakistanis.

Director General FIA has notified the desired Special Cell, which will receive complaints. Deputy Director Immigration, FIA Sajid Akram has been nominated as focal person for this Special Cell by Director General FIA. For this purpose to assist the complainants, FIA has dedicated Helplines 051-111-345-786 and 051-9261104, official telephone number 051-9260951, Fax number 051-9261043 and e-mail address: directorimmigration@gmail.com to lodge/register their complaints during their visit to or stay in Pakistan as well as at airports of the country during their travelling.

The Special Cell will initiate immediate legal action on receipt of complaints from Overseas Pakistanis through electronic/ print media and post/e-mail. The cell shall dispatch the complaints to concerned Zonal offices, collect reports, monitor progress, inform OPF and comprehensive monthly statement on a prescribed format will be prepared to monitor the progress and redressal of grievances of Overseas Pakistanis.
