LoC skirmishes: one soldier martyred as Indian troops attack

One Pakistani soldier was martyred and another injured when Indian soldiers violated Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday and attacked the check-post in Haji Peer Sector (Bagh), Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Sunday. The attack at Sawan Patra check-post left two soldiers injured.

"Pakistani soldiers repulsed the attack effectively and forced the Indian soldiers to leeave the area," the ISPR said Later on, one of the injured soldiers Lance Naik Aslam succumbed to his injuries. The Indian soldiers also left their weapons behind while troops are still exchanging gunfire in the area, the ISPR said.
