Six killed in Jamrud van firing

Six persons of Kuki Khel tribe were killed in firing by unknown armed persons in Chapari area of tehsil Jamrud, officials and local people informed on Sunday. They said that a passenger vehicle was on its way to Jamrud when it was intercepted by armed persons who opened indiscriminate firing on it.

Three persons were killed on the spot while three succumbed to the injuries in hospital. The deceased were identified as Haji Sar Mir, Shan Ahmad, Rehman, Bilal, Abdul Hassan and a woman. The assassins managed to escape after committing the crime. Soon after the incident the administration officials and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured and bodies to hospital.
