PESHAWAR: Peshawar-Islamabad motorway has been reopened for traffic from Peshawar to Rashakai after remaining closed for six hours between Monday and Tuesday night due to heavy fog, said motorway authorities.
According to Motorway Police the fog has disrupted life in many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and commuters are facing problems while traveling on the motorway.
Heavy fog covered the motorway from Peshawar to Rakshai, causing closure for heavy traffic.
The motorway police said that vehicles coming from Islamabad to Peshawar were diverted to GT Road from Rakshai interchange. The motorway was opened at 7:00 am Tuesday morning for all kind of traffic after the visibility increased.
