KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 23232.72 with a negative change of 52.09 and volume of 56,183,690 shares.
High and Low were 23398.64 and 23210.78 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 79,057,530 shares with 258 total traded companies out of which 112 were up, 135 were down and 11 were unchanged.
Construction and Materials (Cement) was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 17,631,900 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 16,174,100 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pakistan Ltd. with a volume of 3,476,000 and price per share of 9.76 (0.31), Sui South Gas with a volume 2,603,000 of price per share of 24.30 (0.38), P.T.C.L.A with a volume 2,432,000 of price per share of 27.20 (0.20).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 1837.50 (87.50), Siemens Pakistan with price per share of 951.43 (45.30) and Colgate Palmolive share of 1800.00 (42.49).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 5125.00 (-45.00), Exide (PAK) XDXB. with price per share of 367.80 (-19.34) and Treet Corporat per share of 229.09 (-12.05).
