Bandits on looting spree in Capital
The capital police have failed to curb carjacking and robberies, especially in the residential areas of the city, as armed gangs of bandits are on looting spree even in the broad daylight, putting a big question mark on the performance of law enforcement agency's of the high ups.

Dacoits without any fear took away cash and gold ornaments worth millions of rupees whereas auto thieves have stolen vehicles from different parts of the city last week. The city police registered nine cases of car-lifting, seven cases of robbery and recovered a body last week. The growing incidents of street crimes are creating major problems for the residents of the federal capital and they demanded of the higher authorities to take notice of the situation.
Last week, Industrial Area Police registered three cases of robbery and two cases of carjacking. According to details, unknown bandits have stolen eye phone from a car of Muhammad Irfan parked at Kachnar Park in sector I-18. Two armed persons snatched mobile phones from Shafqat in the limits of Industrial Area police station. Another Numan, a resident of sector H-9, told Industrial Area police station that unknown people have stolen his laptop.
On the other hand, auto thieves have stolen a bike (MM-772) of Muhammad Anwar from Sunday bazaar parking, and also picked away a car (DD-7378) parked in front of a private hospital in the limits of Industrial Area police station. The Margalla police have registered four cases of carjacking during the last week. Auto thieves have also stolen a car bearing registration number IDF-1996 of Muhammad Younus from sector G-9/1, picked away another car 8091 of Ansir Iqbal from sector F-8/3, taken away another car of KT-646 of Taqveem Enayat from sector G-9/4 and lifted another car WW-703 of Muhammad Hussain from sector G-9 markaz.
Last week, Shehzad Town police registered one case each of kidnapping and car lifting. Muhammad Basharat of Chattha Bakhtwar informed Shehazad Town police that the accused Bilal Khan and Ali Khan have kidnapped his wife. Car lifters have stolen a car (LHX-7738) of Nishat Khan from Rawal town parked in front of his house in the limits of Shehzad Town police station.
Lohi Beer police registered one case each of robbery and carjacking and Ramana police station registered one case each of robbery and car-lifting. Sabzi Mandi, Bara Kahu and Golra police registered one case each of robbery and Kohsar police registered one case of car lifting.
