Chief Minister PK Pervez Khan Khattak will take up critical issues and matters relating to PK in the meeting. The provincial government has done homework in this regard. According to official sources, the Chief Minister will raise net hydel profit issue in the meeting. It has also been learnt the province will take up the issue of water share of KP under 1991 water accord, which is being used by other provinces.
Since the 1991 water accord, the KP has not been using its water share which is being utilised by other provinces. In CCI, the province will take up the issue for payment against its water share being used by other provinces. Official sources said that the KP government would also take up the issue of energy crisis and would plead for construction of dozens of small dams in the province.
The KPK, which has been badly affected by militancy and terrorism, will also discuss the law and order situation in the country in general and in the province in particular. The CM will apprise the meeting about the security situation in his province.
