Final match to be played today: PTI chief

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that Sunday will be very important day in the country's history as he is going to play the real match of his political career. In his late night address to the participants of his party's Azadi March late Saturday night, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must realise the sensitivity of the situation as the time of his resignation is about to come.

"We've just been practicing and the real match will be played today (Sunday) at 3pm," Khan told the gathering, hours after PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri gave 48-hour ultimatum to the federal government. Imran called upon the participants to take some rest and get ready for Sunday as the party is going to play what he called a final and decisive match against the government. Earlier, addressing the gathering, Chief of Pakistan Awmai Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid Ahmed predicted that the next 72 hours would be very crucial, adding the government should take stock of situation before it is too late.
