Fesco recovers Rs 84.5 million from railway, police

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) has recovered Rs 84.5 million from Railway, Police, Livestock, TMA Jaranwala, TMA Gojra and TMA Lyallpur. Similarly, Rs 303.7 million has been recovered from 1 lac 74 thousand private consumers. A spokesman of Fesco said that 3,400 electricity connections have been severed due to default during period from 1st to 18th June 2013. Rs 15.6 million has been recovered from dead defaulters.

On the special directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Fesco Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan the recovery campaign is in full swing so that maximum recovery could be ensured during the current financial year. Special recovery teams are working day and night in all eight districts falling within the jurisdiction of Fesco.

The spokesman has made a humble appeal to the defaulters as well as consumers to pay their bills positively within due date and maximum up to 30th June 2013 otherwise their connections would be disconnected without any further notice. He said that campaign will continue up to June 30, 2013 and consumers should fulfil their moral obligation by pay their electricity bill within due date.
