imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Wednesday said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was in better shape and wants the party workers to keep their spirits high.

"I met Imran Khan in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, and he asked me to convey to PTI workers that their leader (Imran Khan) was in high spirits and would be among them soon," said Javed Hashmi in exclusive talk with APP. The PTI stalwart said, "Thank God Imran Khan is in good condition and is feeling well and would soon be among the passionate party workers, leading the party from the front with the same vigor and fervor." He said that Imran Khan being a public leader could not live away from the masses.

"So the party workers and the nation should not worry about Khan and should pray for his long life", he said. Hashmi, added that Khan wanted that the on-going election campaign of the party should not be affected by his absence and should continue with the same spirit and passion.

He said that Imran has successfully conveyed the party's message of a "change" and PTI's tsunami would clean sweep the coming elections, as the people are eagerly for May 11 to cast vote for PTI.

Critisising PML-N and PPP leaders, Hashmi said that they had disappointed the people of Pakistan due to their wrongdoings.

"The people will hold the former ruling parties accountable by voting against them on May 11," he said and added that all ruling parties, who ruled in the center or in the provinces should tell the nation how much they acted on their party manifestoes and where were their promises made in election 2008.

"A system based on injustice cannot survive long. The previous government did not deliver to the masses, so the ruling junta would face the music on May 11," Javed Hashmi vowed.

He said the people should know that life and death are from Almighty Allah and and they should raise voice against injustice without fear, adding that on May 11, the PTI with the support of passionate youth and public support would turn the tables on the forces of status-quo.

Javed Hashmi said that PTI wants to end family politics due to which it had held intra party elections, adding that the country has been facing crisis after crisis and the people were suffering but no one was paying any heed to their plight.

He said that PTI has taken up the gauntlet to build a Naya Pakistan wherein every individual would enjoy equal status in the eye of law, where there would be no difference between rich and poor and it would be a real and truely welfare state.
