During the course of proceedings, Hamid Khan, the counsel for Imran Khan, told the court that Qamar Zaman Chaudhry had been notified as chairman NAB on October 10, 2013 despite the fact that the apex court had passed two separate judgements against him in the NICL and the Punjab Bank cases. "The chairman NAB is an important post who deals with the corruption charges including cases of federal ministers, so how it is possible that a hand-picked chairman would pursue such cases transparently," he questioned.
