ROTTERDAM: Soymeal on the European meals and feeds market was offered narrowly mixed on Friday in thin trade, with prices slightly under pressure on prospects for a bumper crop in South America.
* "It was a very dull day with both buyers and sellers looking for fresh clues, prices still too high for end-users to step in and low margins," one broker said.
* South American soymeal was offered between $2 a tonne up and $4 down from Thursday, mostly following the trend in CBOT soymeal. Bids were scarce and no deals were reported.
* EU rapemeal was quoted between 1 euro per tonne up and 2 euros down, mostly following easier rapeseed futures. Buyers showed no interest and no deals were reported.
