ISLAMABAD: Sindh Rehabilitation Minister Muzaffar Shujra said that the situation has improved in sindh flood hit areas and 90 percent flood water has been drained out from Kashmore.
Talking to Radio Pakistan he admitted that flood water is still visible in Jacobabad.
He said that they are making efforts to slowly drain out water from Jacobabad as well.
He said that government distributed 2 lakh tents and 3 lakh ration bags among the floods hit people in the area.
He said that he celebrated Eid with flood affected people.
He said that Sindh government is providing assistance to the flood hit people of Rahim Yar Khan and Naseerabad.
He maintained that Sindh government is supporting people of the three provinces and government would provide blankets to the flood affectees within a week due to commencement of the winter.
Minister said that provincial government did not leave any one alone during the floods.
He thanked President Asif Ali Zardari for providing assistance to flood hit people in his own supervision.
