CAIRO: Average yields declined at an auction of 5 billion Egyptian pounds ($824.36 million) of 91-day and 273-day treasury bills on Sunday, the finance ministry said.
The average yield on the 91-day T-bills was 14.243 percent, down from 14.372 percent at last week's auction. On the 273-day bills it was 15.669 percent, down from 15.789 percent at the last issue on July 10.
The central bank, which sells the bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, sold the same amount it had offered.
