imageJAKARTA: Indonesia's finance ministry sold 1.5 trillion rupiah of Islamic bonds at an auction on Tuesday, meeting an indicative target of 1.5 trillion rupiah, the ministry's debt office said.

The weighted average yield for the six-month Islamic T-bill was 6.74160 percent, lower than the last auction of 6.79990 percent on Sep. 9.

The weighted average yield for the 29-year project-based sukuk was 9.20271 percent.

Total bids for Tuesday's auction were 3.659 trillion rupiah, lower than 3.999 trillion rupiah at the previous auction. The highest bid-to-cover ratio was 2.76 for a six-month Islamic T-bill.

There were no winning bids for the 29-year project-based sukuk. On Sep. 11, the ministry raised 3 trillion rupiah of six-month Islamic T-bill via a private placement to the Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation, or Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS).
