PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' 182-day Treasury bills fell to 0.92 percent at an auction on Friday from 1.75 percent at the previous sale on July 25, the central bank said.
The Bank of Mauritius or central bank said it sold all the 500 million rupees ($16.28 million) worth of debt on offer.
It received bids worth 1.910 billion rupees with yields ranging from 2.0 percent to 0.92 percent.
