Microsoft the world largest software maker has announced that its latest Office package app would for the first time ever be available in Urdu language for the Android users.
The latest apps would be released this month, as per local media report, these apps would join Microsoft’s previously released Office apps for Android phones to complete the Office for the Urdu users of Android.
Microsoft Office for Android is currently available in 43 different languages which will increase to 44, with the latest addition of Urdu.
“We are committed to empowering people all over the world to do and achieve more by bringing top quality experiences to our customers across all devices and platforms,” said Kamran Masood Niazi, Communications Manager, MEA from Microsoft.
The apps will be available for free download, and are built to cater both mobile and the cloud.
Coming to the looks, Microsoft Urdu version for Android will have same capabilities and look similar to one’s regular Office.
