MADRID: Spain's calendar-adjusted industrial output rose 2.8 percent year-on-year in February, data from the National Statistics Institute showed on Monday, above forecasts for a 1.7 percent increase.
February's figure was the fourth straight increase in industrial activity and the strongest annual rise since November 2010.
In January, output rose 1.3 percent, revised up from a preliminary reading for a 1.1 percent.
