Reserve Bank of India to buy 150bn rupees of bonds via OMO on Tuesday

MUMBAI: Reserve Bank of India will buy 150 billion rupees ($2.2 billion) worth of government bonds under open market operation (OMO) on Tuesday, it said.

The RBI will buy 7.28 percent 2019, 7.16 percent 2023, 8.26 percent 2027, 8.28 percent 2032, 8.33 percent 2036, and 8.30 percent 2040 under OMO, it said in a statement on Friday.
