Philippines shares fall

Philippines share prices closed 0.72 percent lower on Friday, pulled down by overnight losses on Wall Street, dealers said.
The composite index fell 16.90 points to 2,316.89 while the all shares index closed down 7.51 points at 1,509.19.
There were 56 gainers, 50 decliners and 43 stocks unchanged.
Bank of the Philippine Islands was off 3.2 percent at 45 pesos, Energy Development Corp fell 1.3 percent to 3.75 pesos and Filinvest Land was down 5.2 percent at 73 centavos.
