BEIJING: Pakistan and China have embarked on a joint venture for the construction of two missile carrier boats in the Chinese port city of Tianjin,Under the joint venture signed between Pakistan Navy and

China Shipbuilding and Offshore International Company, two boats capable of carrying missiles would be manufactured simultaneously in Pakistan and China.

Vice Admiral Tanveer Faiz Ahmed was the chief guest at the keel laying ceremony in China. The second boat would be built at Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works.

The boat would be equipped with the latest weapons. Their sensors would be an important addition to the fleet of Pakistan Navy.
