BANGKOK: Shares in Thailand's Sri Trang Agro-Industry Pcl fell 6 percent on Monday after a slump in rubber prices following the earthquake in Japan last week. At 0306 GMT shares in the rubber firm were down 4.6 percent at 26.25 baht after hitting their lowest since Oct. 13 at 25.75 baht. The broader market was flat.
Asian physical rubber prices slumped after the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on Friday raised fears about the Japanese economy and demand for rubber, traders said.
