SINGAPORE: The most active Shanghai copper futures contract dropped 2.5 percent at 72,340 yuan ($11,033) a tonne when the market opened on Tuesday, tracking a four percent loss in London copper prices.
Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange rebounded 0.6 percent at $9,551 by 0102 GMT.
