LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday lost 27.31 points as LSE-25 index opened with 3603.31 and closed at 3576.00 points.
However, the market's overall situation corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.327 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.610 million shares, showing a difference of 1.717 million shares. While, out of the total 107 active scrips 53 remained equal, 38 shed values and only 16 scrips could move up.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and SME Leasing Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.6, Rs 1.22 and Rs 1.05 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank, Millat Tractors Limited and United Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.7, Rs 2.43 and Rs 2.38 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited with turnover of 1.601 million shares, Silk Bank Limited with 1.061 million and Askari Bank Limited with 353,182 shares.
